Pernod Ricard are one of the country’s leading wine, spirits and champagne companies. Managing an unrivalled portfolio of internationally recognised brands, as well as iconic Australian wines, with 240 premium brands available in over 160 countries.
Pernod Ricard contacted us seeking a customised storage system solution that would increase their current storage capacity and improve the speed of pallet deposit and retrieval. The existing system included Double Deep and Drive-In racking which did not enable the required throughput for the sites export requirements.
Following a review of the existing situation, Bowen designed a shuttle racking solution, strategically located within the warehouse to best service the export operations.
The team removed a portion of the current Double Deep and Drive-In racking and commissioned the 2,000 pallet space shuttle rack. This resulted in an additional 900 pallet spaces in the same area and enabled the warehouse team to increase the speed of loading and quantity of exports being managed.
