Wilson Transformer Company tasked Bowen with designing a storage system to manage oversized transformer components safely and efficiently. The challenge was to handle extremely heavy and wide loads while maintaining clear forklift and crane access, and ensuring a durable, long-term setup that supports future operational growth.
Bowen developed a heavy-duty racking and cantilever system featuring custom frame heights and reinforced beams to safely support oversized and heavy components. Wide access aisles were incorporated to allow forklifts and cranes to manoeuvre efficiently, while optimising available warehouse space. Every element of the installation was tailored to Wilson's operational processes, delivering a durable, safe and long-term storage solution.
