Boyle Industries Case Study

Boyle Industries Pty Ltd. is an Australian wholesaler committed to providing customers with quality products and services. Established in 1977, they have expanded their business to become a major provider of gifts, homewares and craft products.
The Boyle business was relocating to a new warehouse facility, and the site required repairs before it could be fitted out. In addition, they required the new facility to manage the business’s current and future storage needs. A plan was in place for the forecasted growth over the coming years.

The main challenge being, to utilise space with their existing selective racking while vacating their previous storage site.
Bowen Storage assisted in providing advice and contacts for the site renovations. The floor area was renovated to a smooth, clean surface, and the walls were repaired, modernising the overall look of the facility. This provided a clean and safe site for the new warehouse fit-out and day-to-day operations after they moved to the new site.

In consultation with Boyle team members, we designed a warehouse layout that provided storage facilities that maximised the space’s use and workbenches for packing orders.

Recommendations were made on material handling equipment, and narrow aisle forklifts were acquired for inventory management on and off the racking system. This approach optimised the footprint being utilised within the warehouse.
Through innovative design and advice on material handling equipment, we provided the client with a storage solution that future-proofed the warehouse for growth and an additional 30% storage capacity.
