With a reputation for innovation and excellence, EC Carpets caters to both residential and commercial markets. Bowen was engaged to deliver a racking solution capable of accommodating large non-standard pallet spaces and specialised carpet roll storage.
The team at Bowen was engaged to deliver a racking solution capable of accommodating 3,450 non-AU pallet spaces without the use of slave pallets, and 18 bays of 4m-deep carpet racking providing 150 levels of carpet roll storage. The design needed to maximise storage capacity within the existing warehouse footprint while ensuring operational efficiency and future adaptability.
Bowen designed a high-density storage system tailored to EC Carpets' requirements, optimising the warehouse layout for narrow aisle forklift operation. Bowen's BR1000 Pallet Racking was constructed with 2,000kg capacity beam levels to provide flexibility for potential future changes in product weight or configuration — ensuring strength, scalability, and compliance with warehouse safety standards.
