Project Information:
R. M. Williams is an Australian footwear and clothing company. It is best known for producing chelsea boots for men and women. The company was founded by Reginald Murray "R.M." Williams. It is currently owned by Tattarang, an investment company owned by mining magnate Andrew Forrest.
It was an exciting project working with R.M. Williams Melbourne Central in the Shot Tower, where they unveiled a full refurbishment that celebrates local craftsmanship.
The store is built around our promise of a signature service experience, providing an immersive and creative space in which to showcase our heritage, legacy and craftsmanship.
Being a historic building made the installation a little challenging as it required custom heights and fixtures to fit in around ceiling obstructions and the historic walls. We achieved their goal of inventory, providing them with fast access to stock and maximising stock levels within the stockroom footprint.
