Founded in 1947, Salomon is an international sporting equipment and apparel brand specialising in outdoor gear for skiing, hiking and trail running. Renowned for innovation and high-performance products, Salomon reached out to Bowen with a very specific brief — fit a minimum of 3,000 boxes within the existing stockroom footprint.
When Salomon reached out to Bowen, they asked for a design that would fit a minimum of 3,000 boxes within the stockroom. They also asked: if this capacity couldn't be reached, how much bigger would the stockroom need to increase by?
Using the Bowen BM3000 Compactus storage system, Bowen was able to fit 3,200 boxes — exceeding the brief — while maintaining the existing stockroom size and without needing to move an intertenancy wall. The design also included an area for hung garments and a workstation for the stockroom team.
