Adore Beauty
Project Information:
Founded in Melbourne in 2000, Adore Beauty has grown into one of Australia’s leading beauty retailers. Its Broadmeadows distribution centre required a highly coordinated automation and storage solution to support continued growth and increasing order volumes.
Project Brief
Bowen was engaged to design and deliver the infrastructure required to bring the automated warehouse environment together. The scope included high-rise shelving, pallet racking, robotic systems, goods-to-person workstations, conveyors, electrical works, safety systems and permit coordination.

Our Solution
Bowen aligned the racking and shelving infrastructure with the automation integrator’s system design. The solution provides 40,000-tote capacity through 225 high-rise shelving bays with 25 shelf levels per bay, 40 AirRob cranes and 180 Floorbots. It also includes 20 goods-to-person pick stations, put-to-light walls, pallet racking and a 51-metre sortation conveyor with seven sort locations, supporting approximately 1,800 picks per hour.

The Result
- Higher-capacity storage supports continued growth.
- Automated systems enable faster, more efficient order fulfilment.
- Sortation supports efficient order flow across transport providers.
- Integrated safety and compliance systems support a complex automated environment.
- The scalable solution provides a platform for future expansion.
