Omni Group
Project Information:
Omni Group supplies packaging products and solutions to businesses across multiple industries. Its move to a larger Epping facility created one central location for inventory and distribution, bringing two warehouses and third-party logistics operations together.
Project Brief
Omni Group needed a high-capacity system that maximised its 9,000m² warehouse while supporting efficient product handling and future expansion. The layout had to work around structural columns, accommodate narrow-aisle articulated forklifts and support both palletised inventory and hand-picked products.

Our Solution
Bowen delivered selective pallet racking configured for narrow-aisle articulated forklifts. Custom-length bays make effective use of space around structural columns, while 220 mesh-deck shelf levels support products requiring individual or manual picking. The completed layout provides 7,600 pallet locations and the flexibility to respond to future storage needs.

The Result
- Previously separate warehousing and logistics functions operate under one roof.
- Pallet racking and mesh-deck shelving support bulk storage and individual picking.
- A site-specific layout turns structurally constrained areas into productive storage space.
- Responsive planning maintained progress as construction and operational requirements changed.
- The adaptable system can respond to Omni Group’s future storage needs.
